Oceanside, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/Lomas Santa Fe Leaves Injuries

Oceanside, CA (August 30, 2025) – Early Saturday morning, August 30, a two-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 5 northbound near Lomas Santa Fe, leaving multiple people injured. The California Highway Patrol reported that a gray 2017 Audi A4 collided with another vehicle along the right-hand shoulder of the freeway. A gray Ford Focus was also later identified as being involved. Both vehicles sustained damage and came to rest along the center divider and shoulder area.

Responding paramedics provided immediate medical assistance, and an ambulance was requested to transport at least one person to a nearby hospital. Others involved in the crash were treated on-site for minor injuries. Tow trucks were called to remove the damaged cars, while fire crews worked to clear debris from the roadway. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
