Orange Co., CA – BMW and Honda Crash on I-5 at Sand Canyon Rd, Injuries
Orange County, CA (July 22, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 South near Sand Canyon Road left multiple individuals injured Tuesday evening, July 22, in Orange County.
The incident occurred around 6:11 p.m. and involved a silver BMW sedan and a gray Honda CR-V. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the BMW was blocking the far-right lane while the Honda came to rest near the gore point. CHP troopers and local emergency crews arrived swiftly and provided initial aid.
At least one person was injured in the crash and received on-site assistance before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Crews remained at the scene for nearly an hour, working to remove the vehicles and debris from the roadway. Officers from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department are conducting a thorough investigation into the cause of the crash.
