Orange Co., CA – Injury Crash on I-5 S/Alicia Pkwy.

Orange County, CA (December 24, 2025) – An injury crash involving multiple vehicles occurred on I-5 southbound at Alicia Parkway on Tuesday, December 23, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision involved a black Mazda CX-5 and at least two other vehicles, with wreckage reported near the gore point.

Authorities initially classified the crash as non-injury but later upgraded the incident after determining that medical assistance was needed. Ambulances were dispatched, and the injured parties were evaluated. At least one victim was transported to a nearby hospital, while others received care at the scene. Two right lanes were blocked during the response, causing traffic delays in the area. CHP officers are investigating possible contributing factors. All lanes were reopened after cleanup was completed.
