Orange Co., CA – Three-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/Chapman Ave. Causes Injuries
Orange County, CA (January 6, 2026) – A three-vehicle collision occurred on I-5 northbound at the Chapman Avenue off-ramp in Orange County on Tuesday, January 6. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a gray Toyota RAV4, a silver Lexus, and a blue Honda. The incident was reported during active freeway traffic, causing lane disruptions in the area. Freeway Service Patrol units arrived and temporarily managed the scene while CHP officers conducted an assessment. At least one individual sustained injuries and was evaluated at the scene by medical personnel. The extent of the injuries has not been publicly disclosed. No fatalities were reported. Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles, and traffic flow was gradually restored. CHP is continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision.
