Orange Co., CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/SR-55 Leaves Injuries
Orange County, CA (November 19, 2025) – Several people were injured on Tuesday, November 18, following a multi-vehicle crash on I-5 southbound near the SR-55 interchange. According to information from the California Highway Patrol, the collision involved a black Toyota Tacoma on the right shoulder and a silver Subaru Forester that came to rest in the center divider, partially blocking the HOV lane. A dark SUV was also reported as part of the crash sequence, contributing to the traffic disruption.
Freeway Service Patrol crews were first to arrive and worked quickly to move the involved vehicles out of active lanes. One injured occupant received medical evaluation at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The specific severity of the injuries has not been released. CHP units remained on site to document the scene, speak with the drivers, and determine the primary cause of the crash.
