Portland, OR – Injury Semi-Truck Crash on I-5 S/Terwilliger Curves
Portland, OR (January 5, 2026) – A crash involving a semi-truck led to injuries on Monday, January 5, on Interstate 5 southbound at the Terwilliger Curves, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation. The collision occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. during the morning commute near Terwilliger Boulevard.
Oregon State Police responded to the scene alongside medical personnel after reports indicated a commercial vehicle was involved in the crash. Upon arrival, authorities closed the left lane and median to allow for emergency response and investigation. One or more individuals were assessed at the scene for injuries.
