Portland, OR – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5/SW Multnomah Blvd.

Portland, OR (January 4, 2026) – An injury-related multi-vehicle crash occurred on Sunday, January 4, on northbound Interstate 5 near SW Multnomah Boulevard, according to Portland Police. The collision was reported on January 4 and involved multiple vehicles traveling in the northbound lanes.

Authorities confirmed that at least one individual sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Portland Police officers responded quickly and secured the scene to manage traffic and assist those involved. Paramedics assessed injured occupants at the location, and one victim was transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.

Traffic in the area experienced delays as officers worked to document the crash and coordinate vehicle removal. No names have been released at this time.
