Sacramento, CA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-5 Near The Airport Over 5 Area

Sacramento, CA (June 14, 2023) – A multi-vehicle collision occurred on Interstate 5 in Sacramento, CA, resulting in injuries. The accident occurred near the Airport Over 5 area in South Sacramento, within District 3.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the scene, arriving around 3:57 p.m. The collision involved two vehicles: a silver 2017 Lexus RX350 and a silver Nissan Altima. Unfortunately, injuries were sustained, and the individuals complained of pain.

Efforts were made to ensure the safety of the affected individuals, and the Freeway Service Patrol (FSP) cleared the roadway.
