San Diego, CA – Major Injury Three-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Sea World Dr
San Diego, CA (January 6, 2026) – A serious three-vehicle crash with reported major injuries occurred on I-5 southbound near the Sea World Drive on-ramp Monday evening, January 5. California Highway Patrol logs indicate the collision involved a blue sedan, a gray Subaru Outback, and a third unidentified gray vehicle. The impact caused traffic hazards in the left lane and required the temporary closure of the on-ramp.
