San Diego, CA – Motorcycle and Sedan Crash on I-5 N/SR-75 Causes Injuries
San Diego, CA (November 23, 2025) – A collision involving a motorcycle and a white sedan occurred Sunday, November 23, on northbound I-5 just south of the SR-75 interchange, resulting in reported injuries, according to the CHP’s Border Communications Center. A passing motorist first reported the motorcycle stopped along the right shoulder with its hazard lights on. Nearby, responders located a white sedan in the centre divider, which had sustained significant damage consistent with a high-impact crash. The motorcycle rider sustained injuries during the collision and received medical attention at the scene before being taken to a local hospital. The driver of the sedan remained on the scene and cooperated with the officers. CHP temporarily closed the shoulder to allow crews to safely clear the wreckage and assess the rider’s injuries. Early reports indicate that lane merging near the interchange may have played a role, though the investigation remains ongoing.
We hope the injured motorcyclist makes a full and speedy recovery.
