Yreka, CA – Injury Crash on I-5 S/Louie Rd.

Yreka, CA (November 23, 2025) – A traffic collision on I-5 southbound just south of Louie Road left one vehicle in the center divider and resulted in injuries on Sunday afternoon, November 23, according to the California Highway Patrol. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was evaluated by paramedics. No word on whether they were transported to a medical facility. Traffic slowed as authorities blocked the fast lane to protect responders working on the scene. Tow crews were dispatched shortly afterwards to remove the vehicle from the divider.
