San Diego, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/SR-75 Leaves Several Injured

San Diego, CA (August 10, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 South, just south of SR-75 in San Diego, injured several people on Sunday night, August 10. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash at approximately 8:19 p.m., involving a white Toyota sedan, a red SUV, and a third vehicle. Upon arrival, CHP officers found the red SUV blocking the middle lanes and debris scattered across the roadway. Paramedics treated multiple victims at the scene, with some being transported to nearby hospitals for further evaluation. Initially classified as an ambulance-required incident, authorities later confirmed the injuries as non-life-threatening. Caltrans assisted in clearing glass and debris from the roadway. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
