San Diego, CA – Three-Vehicle Wreck on I-5 N/Carmel Valley/SR-56 Leaves Injuries

San Diego, CA (November 18, 2025) – A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 North near Carmel Valley, just south of SR-56, resulted in injuries for multiple drivers on Tuesday, November 18. The vehicles involved included a gray Chevrolet Trax, a tan Chevrolet Tahoe, and a black Honda pickup truck.

San Diego Police Department officers reported that all three vehicles sustained substantial damage, requiring the closure of one northbound lane while the scene was cleared. Paramedics treated two victims at the site, and one individual was transported to a hospital for evaluation of injuries. Investigators are examining the events leading up to the collision to determine fault and contributing factors.
