Vista, CA – I-5 N Crash Near SR-78 Leaves Victims Injured

Vista, CA (November 18, 2025) – A traffic collision on I-5 North near SR-78 south of Vista involved a white Kia Sorento and a light-colored van, leaving several individuals injured. The incident was reported by the California Highway Patrol late Tuesday morning. Responding officers found both vehicles with heavy front-end damage. At least two victims were treated on-site, while one individual was transported to a nearby hospital for additional medical care. The northbound lanes experienced delays as tow trucks removed the wrecked vehicles and CHP conducted a thorough investigation into the cause of the crash.
