San Diego, CA – Two Injured in Collision on I-5 No/SR-163 Connector

San Diego, CA (July 28, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash resulted in injuries on northbound Interstate 5 near the SR-163 North connector in San Diego on Monday afternoon, July 28. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 3:18 p.m., where a gray Honda and a white pickup truck were involved in a crash that left both vehicles with visible damage. Paramedics treated both drivers at the scene for injuries sustained in the impact. One of the individuals was later transported to a local hospital for additional treatment, while the other received on-site care and was released. Officers from the San Diego CHP division are actively working to determine what led to the incident.
