Santa Fe Spgs., CA – Crash with Injuries on I-5 S at Lakewood Blvd

Santa Fe Springs, CA (July 28, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 South near Lakewood Boulevard left several people injured Monday evening, July 28. The collision occurred shortly after 6:00 p.m. and brought California Highway Patrol officers and emergency medics to the scene. The crash involved two sedans that collided in the southbound lanes. CHP officers arrived by 6:06 p.m. and immediately began assisting victims. Medical responders assessed the injured and transported at least one person to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. The accident briefly disrupted traffic flow as the vehicles blocked one lane during response efforts. Authorities are still determining the cause of the collision.
