San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision on I-5/Del Mar Heights Results in Injuries

San Diego, CA (October 15, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on I-5 northbound near Del Mar Heights left several individuals injured on Wednesday evening, October 15. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), two cars collided in the northbound lanes just south of Del Mar Heights, causing significant disruptions to evening traffic. Both vehicles were heavily damaged, forcing officers to close part of the roadway while emergency crews assisted the victims.
