Los Angeles, CA – Motorcycle Rider Injured in I-5 Collision at Lorena St
Los Angeles, CA (October 15, 2025) – A motorcycle crash on I-5 northbound at Lorena Street left one rider injured on October 15. CHP reported that the accident involved a gray sedan and a civilian motorcycle, which collided in the northbound lanes near Lorena Street in Los Angeles. The impact caused the rider to be thrown onto the roadway, where he was found conscious but seriously hurt.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived promptly and provided immediate medical care before transporting the motorcyclist to a nearby trauma center for further evaluation. The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. CHP officers conducted a preliminary assessment of the crash and are working to determine whether factors such as speed or lane changes contributed. Traffic in the area was heavily impacted until the roadway was cleared.
