San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/Via De La Valle Leaves Injuries

San Diego, CA (August 20, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on I-5 North near Via De La Valle resulted in injuries on Wednesday morning, August 20. The accident occurred around 9:10 a.m. and involved a white sedan and a pickup truck that came to rest blocking the carpool lane.

The California Highway Patrol confirmed that at least one person was injured in the collision. Paramedics responded promptly, providing first aid at the scene before transporting one victim to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The extent of the injuries has not been made public.
