San Diego, CA (August 10, 2025) – Early on August 9, a gray Chevrolet Spark and another vehicle collided on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 just north of H Street, resulting in injuries. The accident occurred shortly after 1:10 a.m., drawing an immediate response from the California Highway Patrol’s San Diego division. The Chevrolet sustained significant damage to its side, while the second vehicle involved left debris scattered across the roadway. Paramedics assessed the occupants at the scene, treating some for injuries before transporting others to a local hospital for further evaluation. Authorities closed one lane for more than an hour while they conducted an initial investigation into the cause of the crash.
