Altadena, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N at Van Nuys Blvd Off-Ramp Injures One

Altadena, CA (August 10, 2025) – Late Sunday night, August 10, a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 North at the Van Nuys Boulevard off-ramp in Altadena left at least one person injured and prompted an ambulance response. The crash, which occurred around 11:26 p.m., involved a white Audi and a silver Toyota. According to the California Highway Patrol, officers arrived within minutes of the 911 call. Initial reports indicated that neither vehicle was blocking mainline traffic, but responders worked to determine whether the collision had occurred on the freeway or the ramp.

The Los Angeles Fire Department also responded, providing immediate medical assessment at the scene. Although the extent of the injuries has not been confirmed, authorities reported that at least one person required medical evaluation.  CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
