San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S Leaves Driver Injured

San Diego, CA (August 11, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash on I-5 South near the Manchester area on Monday afternoon, August 11, left at least one person injured. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the accident occurred around 2:37 p.m., involving a white sedan that overturned onto its side after colliding with another vehicle, which has not yet been identified. Witnesses said Good Samaritans rushed to assist a male occupant who was trapped inside the overturned sedan before emergency crews arrived. Tow trucks from Road One and other local providers were dispatched to remove the vehicles, with delays estimated at 40 to 50 minutes. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation by CHP.
