San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 SB at La Jolla Village Dr Causes Injuries

San Diego, CA (November 25, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 southbound at the La Jolla Village Drive off-ramp resulted in injuries on Monday, November 24. California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the collision involved a blue Ford Bronco and a red Honda sedan that came to rest along the right-hand shoulder.

Firefighters quickly arrived and blocked several slow lanes to protect the injured parties while medics provided on-site evaluations. One person reportedly suffered injuries and was most likely transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. Traffic in the area slowed heavily as emergency crews worked to secure the scene. Responders remained on the shoulder until the occupants were safely treated and relocated. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the severity of injuries. The CHP is now reviewing the circumstances leading up to the collision.
