Santa Ana, CA – Injuries Reported in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/SR-55

Santa Ana, CA (June 30, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident involving a white Mazda minivan and a white Volkswagen sedan occurred on the southbound side of I-5 near State Route 55 in Santa Ana on Monday, June 30. California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred during the early evening hours. Responding officers confirmed that one person sustained injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. CHP is continuing to investigate the crash.
