Santa Ana, CA – Three-Vehicle Collision on I-5 N/SR-57 N HOV Flyover

Santa Ana, CA (January 29, 2026) – A three-vehicle crash on I-5 northbound at the SR-57 North HOV flyover caused injuries on Thursday afternoon, January 29. CHP reported the collision involved a gray Ram pickup, a black Chevrolet Volt, and a motorcycle. Responders moved the motorcyclist to the shoulder for evaluation. The vehicles partially blocked lanes, and tow trucks assisted in clearing the scene. Emergency crews confirmed that the injuries were non-life-threatening and were treated at the scene. Authorities are investigating the collision to determine how the vehicles became involved. Traffic delays occurred while lanes were reopened.
