Seattle, WA – Fatal Crash on I-5/Yesler Way Leaves One Dead, One Injured
Seattle, WA (November 26, 2025) – A tragic collision on southbound I-5 near the Yesler Way exit early Wednesday morning, November 26, left one man dead and another injured, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP). The crash was reported shortly after dawn, prompting troopers and emergency medical personnel to respond to reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. When officers arrived, they discovered two individuals down on the roadway, both suffering from impact-related injuries.
Crews immediately administered life-saving measures to a 30-year-old man who appeared to have been hit with significant force. Despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. A 48-year-old man was also evaluated by responders but did not require transport to a hospital. Officials have not yet released the identities of either individual.
