South King County, WA – BLS Responds to Injury Accident on I-5 Freeway near MM 140

South King County, WA (February 14, 2023) – The Washington State Patrol responded to the scene of a car accident that left at least one person injured on Monday morning. Calls for help came in at around 1:40 a.m. on February 13.

Official reports indicate that a motor vehicle collision occurred on the southbound side of the Interstate 5 Freeway. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway near mile marker 140.

One Basic Life Support (BLS) unit was requested at the scene to care for the victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care following the accident.

At this time, the Washington State Patrol is investigating.
