Los Angeles, CA – Central LA Crash on Golden State Freeway near CA-2 Ends in Injuries

Los Angeles, CA (February 14, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place in Central Los Angeles late Sunday evening, February 12.

At approximately 11:40 p.m., an automobile accident took place on the northbound side of the Golden State Freeway, Interstate 5. The incident prompted officials to respond to the scene of the accident and secure the area near California State Route 2.

At least one vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene.

Emergency medical services responded to care for the victims who suffered injuries. EMS then transported the injured parties to local hospitals.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
