Stockton, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N at Louise Ave. Off-Ramp Leaves Injuries

Stockton, CA (August 19, 2025) – A two-vehicle accident on Interstate 5 northbound at the Louise Avenue off-ramp left at least one person injured on Tuesday, August 19. The crash, which happened during afternoon traffic, involved a white Toyota Tacoma pickup and a white Volkswagen sedan. The California Highway Patrol units arrived at the scene and found one of the drivers sustained injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local medical facility for further evaluation. Other individuals involved were treated at the scene and later released.

Authorities worked to clear the wreckage, which caused traffic backups for northbound drivers exiting at Louise Avenue. Tow trucks removed the heavily damaged vehicles after emergency responders secured the area. The exact circumstances of how the collision occurred remain under investigation.
