Stockton, CA – Two-Vehicle Injury Crash on I-5 S/Fremont St

Stockton, CA (December 18, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on I-5 South at the Fremont Street off-ramp in Stockton on Wednesday, December 17. California Highway Patrol reports indicate a gray Honda van and a white sedan were involved, with one vehicle sliding off the roadway and down an embankment.

Stockton Fire Department crews arrived to find smoke coming from both vehicles and a tire blocking lanes. One or more individuals sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene before receiving further medical care. Tow trucks were called as responders worked to remove the damaged vehicles. Traffic was slowed while the roadway was cleared. CHP continues to investigate the crash.
