Westminster, CA – Injury Collision on I-5 S/Disney Way Off-Ramp

Westminster, CA (December 31, 2025) – A traffic collision on the southbound I-5 Disney Way off-ramp left at least one person injured on Tuesday afternoon. California Highway Patrol officers reported a white GMC Terrain had collided with another unidentified vehicle, causing significant damage. The GMC sustained visible smoke from the engine, prompting immediate attention.

Paramedics responded and provided on-site assessment before transporting one victim to a nearby hospital for evaluation of head and upper-body injuries. Tow trucks from local providers were requested to remove both vehicles from the ramp. The crash temporarily created a traffic hazard in the far left lane, with CHP directing traffic to prevent further incidents. Officials are investigating the crash to determine the cause of the crash.
