San Diego, CA – Three-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/SeaWorld, Injuries Reported

San Diego, CA (December 31, 2025) – A three-vehicle crash on I-5 southbound just north of SeaWorld left multiple people injured on Tuesday afternoon, December 30. California Highway Patrol officers reported the collision involved a gray Nissan, a black sedan, and another unidentified vehicle.

Paramedics assessed injuries at the scene, with one individual reporting head pain and requesting transportation for further evaluation. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove damaged vehicles, including the gray Nissan, which was placed on the right-hand shoulder. The CHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, including potential traffic violations. Drivers were advised to avoid the area until all vehicles were cleared. Authorities worked quickly to restore traffic flow and ensure safety.
