Altadena, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at CA-134 Con. Leaves Victims Injured

Altadena, CA (August 26, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash at the southbound Interstate 5 and CA-134 East connector in Altadena left several people injured on Tuesday morning, August 26. California Highway Patrol (CHP) units responded to the collision shortly after 7:00 a.m. Authorities said the crash occurred at the gore point of the interchange, leaving both vehicles badly damaged.

At least two people sustained injuries, though their conditions have not yet been confirmed. Paramedics were called to the scene, providing emergency medical assistance before transporting one victim to a nearby hospital. CHP officers remained at the scene to investigate the crash and interview those involved. Officials are working to determine whether driver error, speed, or unsafe merging may have contributed.
