Altadena, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 at Colorado Blvd. Injures Drivers

Altadena, CA (August 26, 2025) – A serious crash involving a white Tesla and a silver Ford Mustang on the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Colorado Boulevard left several people injured on Tuesday night, August 26. The accident was reported around 8:04 p.m., prompting a rapid response from CHP units. Upon arrival, officers found both vehicles with extensive damage, with airbags deployed in one of the cars.

Medical personnel evaluated victims at the scene, and at least one individual was transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment. The extent of injuries has not been disclosed, but authorities confirmed they were non-life-threatening. Traffic along the I-5 corridor was slowed as officials directed vehicles around the scene and worked to clear debris. Investigators are continuing to assess what caused the collision.
