Orange Co., CA – Tesla and Sedan Crash on I-5 S/Grand Ave, Injuries Reported

Orange County, CA (August 27, 2025) – Emergency responders were called Wednesday evening, August 27, to a two-vehicle crash on I-5 southbound at the Grand Avenue exit involving a white Tesla and a white sedan. The California Highway Patrol arrived on scene around 5:26 p.m. to find both vehicles damaged and pulled to the shoulder.

Paramedics provided medical attention to the injured parties, and at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for additional care. Traffic slowed significantly through the southbound lanes while officers worked to investigate the crash and remove the damaged vehicles.

Investigators are working to determine the sequence of events that led to the crash.
