San Diego, CA – Motorcycle and Vehicle Crash on I-5 S Leaves Rider Injured
San Diego, CA (August 27, 2025) – A motorcycle and another vehicle collided on the southbound lanes of I-5 near the SR-75 connector on Wednesday afternoon, leaving the rider injured. 
The California Highway Patrol officers responded shortly after the crash and found the motorcyclist down on the shoulder with visible injuries. Paramedics arrived and treated the rider at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities worked to clear debris from the roadway, though traffic delays were reported in the area. The condition of the injured motorcyclist has not yet been disclosed. Investigators with CHP are continuing to examine the cause of the accident.
