Santa Ana, CA – Jeep-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/Alton Pkwy Ramp Causes Injuries

Santa Ana, CA (August 27, 2025) – A collision involving a black Jeep and another vehicle left at least one person injured on Wednesday evening, August 27, on the I-5 northbound lanes at the Alton Parkway eastbound on-ramp. The Santa Ana Police Department and California Highway Patrol responded to the scene after witnesses reported a two-car crash blocking the ramp area.

Paramedics assessed the occupants for injuries and provided medical care at the scene before transporting at least one individual to a nearby hospital. The extent of the injuries has not yet been confirmed. Both vehicles sustained visible damage, forcing officers to close part of the ramp temporarily while tow crews cleared the area.

CHP investigators are reviewing the circumstances leading up to the collision.
