Sacramento, CA – Pickup Truck Wreck on I-5 at Airport Blvd. Leaves Injuries

Sacramento, CA (August 26, 2025) – A collision between two pickup trucks on Interstate 5 southbound near the Airport Boulevard off-ramp left several people injured on Tuesday afternoon, August 26. The accident involved a black Toyota Tacoma, which had its airbags deployed, and a white Toyota Tundra. CHP arrived on the scene around 2:43 p.m. and confirmed that emergency medical services had been dispatched.

At least one injured party was transported to a nearby medical facility for further care, while others received treatment on-site. Both trucks sustained visible damage, with one coming to rest partially blocking the exit ramp. Traffic was temporarily delayed as officers directed drivers away from the off-ramp and cleared the scene of the wreckage. Investigators are reviewing the circumstances surrounding the crash.
