Altadena, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/Van Nuys Blvd Leaves Injuries
Altadena, CA (January 8, 2026) – A two-vehicle traffic collision resulting in injuries was reported on Tuesday, January 7, on I-5 southbound near Van Nuys Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash involved a white Toyota Corolla and a tan Mercedes sedan. CHP officers arrived to find at least one individual complaining of head pain after striking their head during the collision. Due to the reported symptoms, an ambulance was dispatched to the scene.
Paramedics evaluated the injured party before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further medical assessment as a precaution. The extent of the injuries has not been released.
