Capistrano, CA – Injury Two-Car Crash on I-5 NB at Camino Capistrano

Capistrano, CA (November 20, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision on northbound I-5 near Camino Capistrano resulted in injuries on Thursday, November 20. The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash involved a blue Tesla and a black Audi, both of which came to rest on the right shoulder.  CHP officers confirmed that injuries were sustained in the crash.

Responding personnel checked for injuries at the scene, and at least one party reported pain consistent with a moderate collision. Officers did not immediately confirm whether any of the injured were transported to a hospital for further evaluation. The crash briefly affected access near the Las Ramblas on-ramp before tow trucks relocated the vehicles from the shoulder.

CHP is currently reviewing statements from the drivers and any available traffic camera footage to determine the events that led to the collision.
