Coalinga, CA – Semi-Truck and Car Crash on I-5 S/Utica Ave. Leaves Injuries

Coalinga, CA (October 16, 2025) – A semi-truck and a small passenger car collided on Wednesday evening, October 15, on I-5 southbound at the Utica Avenue off-ramp, leaving at least one person injured. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a black Dodge Dart and a semi-truck came into contact along the right-hand shoulder.

Emergency crews responded and confirmed injuries at the scene. One victim required further medical evaluation and was transported to a nearby hospital.
