Los Angeles, CA – Crash on I-5 N/Lakewood Blvd. Injures Multiple People

Los Angeles, CA (August 11, 2025) – A four-vehicle accident on I-5 North at the Lakewood Boulevard off-ramp left several people injured early Monday morning. CHP officers reported arriving on the scene around 6:54 a.m., where they found a dark gray BMW 530VE, a black Honda Civic, a gray Toyota Tacoma, and a white Hertz truck pulling a trailer involved in the crash. Witnesses said multiple drivers exited their vehicles after the crash, with some receiving help from passing motorists. CHP units quickly worked to move the vehicles to the right-hand shoulder to reopen the affected lanes. Emergency medical crews evaluated the injured, with at least two people transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
