Santa Fe Springs, CA – Two Injured in Crash on I-5 Near Florence Ave.

Santa Fe Springs, CA (August 10, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash late at night on August 8 sent two people to the hospital after their cars collided on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Florence Avenue. The accident occurred around 10:59 p.m. and involved a silver Honda sedan and a black Honda, both left blocking lanes. The California Highway Patrol units arrived to find debris on the roadway and both vehicles heavily damaged. Paramedics assessed the injured on scene before transporting them to a local medical facility for further care. Bob and Dave’s Tow Company responded to remove the vehicles from the scene. The incident caused temporary lane closures until authorities were able to fully clear the roadway. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
