Los Angeles, CA – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5/Los Feliz Blvd Off-Ramp

Los Angeles, CA (January 19, 2026) – A deadly multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 near the Los Feliz Boulevard off-ramp claimed at least one life on Sunday, January 18, according to the California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles Fire Department.

The crash occurred in the northbound lanes just south of Griffith Park when several vehicles, including a dark-colored sedan and a gray vehicle, collided and blocked all lanes.

First responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived to find two people non-responsive at the scene. One victim was pronounced deceased despite emergency medical efforts. Additional occupants were assessed on site, with at least one person transported to a hospital for further evaluation.

CHP continues to examine possible contributing factors.
