Los Angeles, CA – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/E Washington Blvd

Los Angeles, CA (October 22, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle accident on I-5 southbound near East Washington Boulevard left several people injured on Wednesday afternoon, October 22, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LAFD). The crash occurred around 12:58 p.m. and involved at least five vehicles, including a gray Ford Bronco, a gray sedan, a red vehicle, and another unidentified car. Authorities said one dark gray vehicle overturned, blocking all southbound lanes and causing significant traffic delays.

Paramedics and firefighters quickly arrived at the scene, providing on-site medical evaluations to multiple victims. One individual with moderate injuries was transported to a nearby hospital for further care. Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles, and cleanup crews worked to clear debris and reopen the roadway.
