Los Angeles, CA – Motorcycle-Vehicle Crash on I-5/I-710 Con. Leaves Rider Injured

Los Angeles, CA (September 1, 2025) – A motorcycle accident involving another vehicle on Interstate 5 southbound at the Interstate 710 South connector left one rider injured Monday morning, September 1. The California Highway Patrol reported the crash just before 10:00 a.m. According to officials, a gray sedan collided with a motorcycle, throwing the rider onto the roadway. The motorcyclist was found lying in the center divider while lanes one and two were blocked.

Emergency crews quickly responded, and Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics provided on-scene medical assistance before transporting the rider to a nearby hospital. Tow trucks were called to remove the motorcycle and sedan from the freeway. Authorities confirmed that traffic was backed up for several miles as officers redirected vehicles. The CHP continues to investigate the collision to determine liability.
