Los Angeles, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/S. Lorena St. Leaves One Injured
Los Angeles, CA (August 21, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash caused injuries on I-5 South near South Lorena Street in Central Los Angeles on Thursday evening, August 21. The collision, which occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m., involved a black pickup truck and a white compact vehicle, blocking several lanes of the busy interstate.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that one person sustained injuries and required ambulance transport from the scene. Firefighters also responded, working alongside officers to clear debris and provide aid. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the black pickup and the white vehicle, which sustained significant front-end damage. Traffic was backed up for miles as crews worked to clear the scene.
CHP officials are continuing their investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the crash. The injured individual’s condition has not yet been released.
