Newhall, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-5 N/SR-118 Leaves Injuries

Newhall, CA (August 21, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle crash disrupted traffic in Newhall on Thursday afternoon, August 21, when a black Mercedes GLE collided with a gray Dodge Caravan on I-5 North near the SR-118 interchange. The California Highway Patrol arrived on the scene shortly after 2:00 p.m.

Emergency responders reported that at least one person sustained injuries in the crash. Paramedics provided medical attention on-site before transporting the injured party to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed. Officers temporarily closed affected lanes while investigators examined the crash site and directed traffic around the wreckage.
