Los Angeles, CA – Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-5 S/S. Lorena St 

Los Angeles, CA (August 21, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision blocked lanes and left at least one person injured on Thursday night, August 21, along I-5 South near the South Lorena Street exit in Los Angeles. The accident occurred just before 9:00 p.m. and quickly brought traffic to a standstill in the downtown corridor.

According to the California Highway Patrol, both vehicles sustained moderate damage and came to rest in lanes, obstructing traffic flow. Paramedics and firefighters were called to the scene, where they treated at least one injured occupant before transporting them to a nearby medical facility for further care.

Tow crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles while CHP officers investigated the cause of the crash. Authorities continue to review evidence and driver accounts to determine fault.
