Los Angeles, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-5 S/SR-60 Con. Leaves Injuries
Los Angeles, CA (August 30, 2025) – A collision on Interstate 5 South at the SR-60 East connector on Saturday afternoon, August 30, resulted in multiple injuries. 
Responding units from the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that at least one of the vehicles was disabled and could not be moved without assistance. Emergency responders arrived on scene and provided immediate medical aid to the victims. Several injured parties were transported to nearby hospitals for further evaluation.
Towing crews were called to assist in clearing the wreckage, with both vehicles eventually removed from the connector. The accident temporarily blocked half of the transition ramp, leading to heavy traffic backups through the interchange. The CHP is investigating what led to the crash.
